Adults Only Events at TELUS Spark

Sometimes, you want to head out to an event without the kids or with a group of friends. There are plenty of events in Calgary providing a great time for adults to enjoy. Check out the upcoming Adults Only events at TELUS Spark below.

Adults Only Night - It Came from Outer Space

TELUS Spark, found at 220 St. Georges' Drive NE, will provide an Adults Only night on Thursday, August 13th. This event will start at 6pm and will provide plenty of fun. The Perseids Meteor Shower will be active and it will be time to view it and celebrate.

The event will be all about outer space and is perfect for those with a fascination about space. If you want to attend this event, you can for $19.95 for adults and $17.95 for seniors. If you are a TELUS Spark member, you get in free.

Other Adults Only Nights are held every month on the second Thursday. TELUS Spark opens late for these events and allows you to enjoy plenty of fun without the children. You will need to be 18 year or older to attend.

Maker Workshop - Maker Apothecary

These fun workshops are for ages 18 and up only. You will get to use real Maker tools to help develop your skills and innovation. The beauty is found on the inside when it comes to the makeup and you will get to learn all about how it's made and more.

The event will be held on Thursday, August 13th starting at 8pm. If you want to attend, it's $30 per person for the Maker Workshop.

Maker Workshop - Coffee Roasting

Have you ever wondered how your coffee is roasted? Did you know dark roasts have less caffeine than any others? What about the beans, did you know they are green before they are roasted?

Coffee is quite fascinating and this workshop will provide a look at how coffee is roasted. You will learn about the process, how it's done and even get to do some of it yourself.
