More than 430 reviewers on Google have given Escape60 a nearly perfect five-star rating! What makes their escape rooms different from most?

Sandeep and his brother decided to open Escape60 so they could work together while providing customers with an elevated experience. Of course, it helped that both loved the joy and excitement of the experience/adventure-based industry.

"Our work ethic and growth mindset also contribute to Escape60's success," smiles Sandeep, "along with our openness to change and willingness to adapt to our customer's needs and wants."

The brothers know that change is important, but so is sticking to the aspects of the business that work. For example, they knew that their customers wanted challenging and fun escape experiences, but it was after they took a consumer poll that they realized adding a Harry Potter inspired room would really boost their brand.

Being business savvy, Sandeep and his brother knew they needed to offer more than escape challenges to truly differentiate themselves in the experience/adventure-based market. To this end their facility also provides corporate events, catering, birthday parties, event space rentals, lunch & learns, holiday parties, and team building opportunities.

"We are the only escape room to offer a fully licensed establishment alongside an upgraded event venue space," Sandeep informs. "And, we also take part in community events, helping with fundraising initiatives by giving free packages to auctions at charities. We are currently getting involved with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation."

They find it fun and exciting to work with customers every day, but behind the scenes, resource allocation, marketing, strategic hiring, and cost/margin analysis are also part of the work day. Thankfully, the brothers are helped along by a great team that they are proud to say they couldn't do without.

Both praise the small business community in Calgary, finding likeminded entrepreneurs in the city and through the Chamber of Commerce. Of course, being near the mountains and surrounded by natural scenic beauty is a pretty big plus too!

When you visit Escape60 you can enjoy, among other amusements, rooms inspired by Star Wars, Willy Wonka and Harry Potter. If you are not a fan of the escape experience, you can still enjoy theme nights where friends gather to paint, play a murder mystery, or do a round of bingo. Escape60 is always improving and evolving, so expect more fun and excitement with each visit.

"We love working with people, the customers and the staff," the brothers conclude. "The energy goes through the roof and we feed off the excitement!"
