Grapefruit Porter’s Tonic

Cheezy Bizness food truck has created the Grapefruit Porter’s Tonic. Nicole Fewell owns the truck and was trying to think of a way to keep business active during the winter season. She created this citrusy flavoured soda by bottling tonic made from scratch using lemon, lime, lemongrass, citric acid and cinchona bark, and then adding the grapefruit flavour. The tonic was named after her son. She also says you can take her concoction and add gin for an adult beverage.

Grizzly Paw Brewing Company’s Root Beer

A new take on a classic root beer, Grizzly Paw Brewing Company has created a delicious new flavour. It tastes as it did during the time of prohibition with their unique formula that makes this slow-brewed soda. The brewing company has created other sodas like cream soda and orange for restaurants around Calgary. They’ve been around since 1996 and are located on Main Street.

Blumer’s Black Cherry Soda

Blumers brewing company is now offering a black cherry soda made with real cane sugar. They are a Calgary-based company that distributes the soda, although its produced in Wisconsin. It has a light and delicious flavour, and they also make other flavours like cream soda. People love the carbonated vanilla flavour of the cream soda, although the black cherry is everyone’s favourite.
