Ghoul's Night Out: October 28-30
Calgary's Heritage Park hosts Ghoul's Night Out, featuring brand-new events this year! Dress up and check out family activities like Tea in the Rabbit Hole, Street Theatre with performances by Halloween characters, trick or treat at the Trick or Treatery, or grab a Halloween meal. Visit on October 28 and 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. or October 30 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Pumpkins After Dark: September 22-October 31
You can't miss Calgary's Pumpkins After Dark unique walkthrough experience with 6,000 hand-carved pumpkins. Special effects, music, and sounds lead you through a path with all-new displays this Halloween season. Grab a sweet treat, view a pumpkin carving demonstration, and discover so much more at this magical event at WinSport.
Field of Screams: October 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, & 29
Cobb's Adventure Park's annual outdoor Halloween-themed event is back! Field of Screams allows you to explore 20 acres at night and put your bravery to the test while you make your way through six haunted houses. Stay for the rides, food, activities, and more! Tickets are $26 if purchased online and $30 at the door.
Dash of Doom: October 29
Participate in a Calgary Halloween tradition at the Dash of Doom Halloween Run. This is Calgary's only Halloween night race, where participants are encouraged to dress up and bring their families and pets. If you can't make it, you'll have the chance to race virtually from anywhere from October 28 - October 31. Both races are eligible for awards, and in-person participants will receive a T-shirt.
Screamfest 2022: Month of October
Get ready to scream at Calgary's Screamfest! Haunted houses, games, and rides await at this event in Stampede Park. Tickets are available online, and hours are from 7 p.m. to midnight. Screamfest is recommended for visitors aged 12 and up.
Market Wine - Spooktacular Beerfest: October 29
Dress up and join Market Wines at their Calgary South location for Spooktacular Beerfest. Sample Alberta beers and more from 7 to 9 p.m. Tickets are available online starting at $49.
2022 Train of Terror: Fridays & Saturdays in October + October 30
Are you brave enough to board the Train of Terror? Start by navigating your way through a maze, then grab a drink before your next terrifying adventure awaits. This two-hour experience is an 18+ event. Tickets can be purchased online for $85 and are going fast!
