It's New Year's Eve and if you don't have any plans yet, here are a few last-minute tips to help you out. The events listed below are family-friendly and suitable for any age!

Party at City Hall

Come out to City Hall this year at Olympic Plaza. There will be an outside party so be sure to bring along your skates! There will also be hot chocolate served and music to enjoy while you take in the breathtaking sights of ice sculptures. It all begins at 9 PM this evening and the coundown starts right before midnight. There will also be a coundown starting at 9 PM for children that need to head home early. This is a free celebration and is perfect for both young and old.

Cowboy Rodeo

This is a western celebration and it's taking place at the Agrium Western Event Centre at Stampede Park. The festivities start at 8:45 PM tonight and run until 2 AM. This event is licensed and tickets are available at the door for $35.

A New Year's Eve with nature

Celebrate New Year's Eve surrounded by nature at Inglewood's Bow Habitat Station. The events include games, arts and crafts, a magic show and you can feed the fish while you're there as well. The admission is only $10 per adult and $6 for children. This festivity begins at 10 AM and runs until 4 PM today and is a great way to spend some time with the family before the big evening tonight.

Telus Spark

Enjoy a special lunch at the Science Centre from 11 AM until 1 PM today. There will be a noon countdown along with a dance party featuring bubble wrap and kids can create their own time capsule, New Year's crackers and their own noisemakers.
