Restaurant Spotlight: Divino Wine & Cheese Bistro
The Diner’s Choice Award winner from 2013, Divino Wine & Cheese Bistro has been a staple in New York City for decades. They opened a location in Calgary in 1984 with just 30 seats. The restaurant has relocated since to a historic spot on the Stephen Avenue Walk. The newer location provides more seating and even has two private rooms for parties.
At Divino Wine & Cheese Bistro, the menu provides the highest quality products with many locally sourced ingredients. Many of the items on the menu come from the Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts game ranch. They serve lunch and dinner with some of the favourites on the menu including:

They also provide a full selection of wines to compliment your meal. For dessert, you can enjoy Olive Oil Cake, Tiramisu Cheesecake, Savory Cranberry Pear Strudel and many other choices.
Private Dining Rooms
At Divino Wine & Cheese Bistro, you can hold your event in one of the private rooms. The main dining room can be rented out for larger events. However, for smaller rooms may fit just right. The Stone Cellar seats up to 48, while the Spirits Room seats up to 60 and can hold up to 175 for a stand up event.
Location and Hours
The Divino Wine & Cheese Bistro is found at 113 - 8th Avenue SW in Downtown Calgary. They open at 11am Monday through Friday and at 5pm on Saturdays. The restaurant stays open until business declines and they are closed on Sundays.Posted by Justin Havre on
