Child Free and Ready to Party

If you’re enjoying the festival without little ones you’ll want to make sure a stop, or five, at the Beer Garden is on your agenda. The Beer Garden offers Big Rock Beer and cider as well as wine and sangria in a wonderful tree-shaded area. It’s conveniently located near the Main Stage so you can grab your frosty beverage without missing any of your local or global musicians.

Family-Style Fun Filled Weekend

The festival is the perfect blend of adult-entertainment and kid-appeal with the Family Fun Zone offering Box City, craft projects, parachute games, a jumping castle as well as 14 musical performances. The Family Fun Zone is open Saturday and Sunday with performances running from 11am until 4pm. The best part? Children 12 and under are free.

Perhaps you are a musician looking for advice from the masters. Don’t miss Folk Boot Camp, hosted concurrent to the Festival at the National Music Centre. This is 3 days of opportunities to learn about songwriting, receive vocal coaching, and spend time jamming with your folk-music heroes. Fine tune your own skills for 3 hours and then spend the rest of the day being entertained by musical masters from around the world.
