Family owned and operated, Spruce Meadow is a premium venue for a variety of horse sports. This establishment was created with the thought of providing a one-of-a-kind experience for horse lovers in the Calgary area. The owners focused on providing “good friendship, good commerce and good sport.”

All who are involved with the facility have helped uphold the values and anticipations that were installed into the making of Spruce Meadows. Spruce Meadows sits on 400 acres of land, and there is a variety of facilities on the property.

These facilities are utilized for special occasions and business meetings. These include the British House, Congress Hall, Equi-Plex, CP Canada House and Gallery on the green. Each offers a variety of benefits that will cater for any size of gathering. There are breakout room and banquet options.

Open Year-Round

You can visit Spruce Meadows year round, and take in some of the beauty that makes this a world class horse facility. Take a stroll through the stables to view trainers working with students and horses. The landscape is beautiful, and watching these majestic creatures is relaxing.

They also offer an on-site Tack Shop, which carries all the supplies you will need to care for your horse riding needs. Here you will find a number of unique gift offerings, as well as well known brands. Also, Spruce Meadows host a number of events that are open to the public. They are known to host as many as 300 events per calendar year. These include trade shows, tournaments and exhibits.

Don’t forget to take the little ones to the playground, which has a variety of offerings to keep your little ones busy for hours. It is located at the Terrace Halls, and offerings include swings, slides, and climbing structures.
