Which Communities are Lake Communities in Calgary?
Summer weather is normally fairly nice in Calgary. Any time the sun is shining bright in the sky, it is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a day at the lake. Auburn Bay
This is a community you can find on the southeast side of the city. You can get to the community very easily from the Deerfoot Trail or the Stoney Trail. The lake consists of 43 acres of freshwater. It has a private park and beach as well.
Arbour Lake
This is a community you can find on the northwest side of the city. The community is bordered by the Crowchild Trail and Country Hills Boulevard. This lake is the perfect spot for anyone who enjoys swimming, fishing, and boating. In the winter, it is a prime spot to go ice skating as well.
Coral Springs
The Coral Springs community is located on the northeast side of Calgary. There are three parks in this community. They are used for fishing, volleyball, boating, and swimming.
Mahogany
Did you know that Mahogany was the largest freshwater lake in all of Calgary? It is 84 acres of freshwater lake. It has a private beachfront and is perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
Lake Bonavista
You can find this community on the southeast side of Calgary. There are a lot of different amenities that the residents greatly enjoy. The lake is well-maintained and perfect for boating, swimming, and other forms of water play.
