Bowness offers a wide range of community housing options, including semi-detached homes, condominiums, townhouses, and starter homes. The boundaries of Bowness are the Bow River (North and East); the mountainous 16 Avenue/TransCanada Highway (South); and Stoney Trail (West). Bowness is an attractive Calgary neighbourhood originally founded in 1911, which remained independent until 1964, at which point it became part of Calgary.
