Situated in Northeast Calgary, the Martindale community is just east of the Calgary International Airport. Three neighbourhoods border the community: Saddle Ridge, Taradale, and Castleridge.

Martindale Community Amenities
The recreational facilities available to Martindale residents include a toboggan hill and a community skating rink that morphs into a skateboard park in the summer. The neighbouring Castleridge subdivision has a 40-acre park called Prairie Winds. Another park, Martin Crossing, is located east of Martindale. Designed for joint use, Martin Crossing Park has a community centre, an outdoor hockey rink, soccer fields, basketball courts, and ball diamonds.
Transit to and from points of interest around the city are conveniently facilitated by 80 Avenue N to the north, by Falconridge Boulevard to the east, 64 Avenue N to the south, and by 44 Street E to the west. An LRT train station also resides within the community to aid in transportation.
